Technology Policy

To view the Acceptable Technology Use Policy for students, download the following Technology Policy for Randall K. Cooper High School. Every student must have a signed ATUP in order to have computer access.

Bring Your Own Technology (BYOT) definition:  For the purposes of BYOT, “technology” is any personally owned technology device that includes, but is not limited to, existing and emerging mobile communication systems and smart technologies, portable Internet devices, hand held entertainment systems or portable information technology systems that can be used for word processing, wireless Internet access, image capture/recording, sound recording and information transmitting/receiving/storing, etc.  Along with the acceptable use policy in the district code of conduct, your student also received a BYOT responsibilities and guidelines usage agreement for both of you to sign. Please review this policy carefully and checkout the related BYOT literature. We want to help your student to thrive in the 21st century classroom and beyond.   In order for students to be able to have their wireless internet available they must complete their digital driver's licence; click here to view the curriculum.  Click here for more information about the guidelines.
